Email Marketing Facts !!!!

What happens to email?
If it’s good, you retain it right? You create ahead a little folder in your inbox and add it there. If the computer communication is strong, you forward it right? And now with social media optimization you can tweet it, share it on facebook wall to your divider, and perform some other things to without any problem share it with everyone on this planet you know!
Tip: I use to believe the fancier the email html design, the less like it was to be looked at. But I was wrong! An email that has a good PSD to HTML design create has 8 times better open rates (Cates).
Ron  said two things that I reflected were brilliant. First, “Focus on show people your skill, people know you sell stuff..” And second, “Your email should be 80% instructive and 20% promotional.” There’s that 80/20 rule that we often view in business.
Look, I’m not attempting to trade you on email marketing. I just like you to have some actual items to aid you make better enterprise decisions!

The Facts:

95% of Internet users between the ages of 18 and 64 send or read email
An even higher percentage of users ages 65 or older do the same
235 million people across the country use email, most use it every day

                                                                                                           "Source: eMarketer"
Email ROI: $44.05 returned for every $1 spent

For the same response, direct mail cost 20 times as much as email    "Source: Forrester Research, Inc."
Is it a good decision, should you invest the time, money, and effort to do it? I say yes, but I’m not the owner of your business.
I would love to hear your feedback, and for any email marketing experts, feel free to chime in with some more awesome facts!
